Unjustified Bhopal Justice

Bhopal verdict is out and it has left every one to pour out their feelings. People from Bhopal suffered and continue to suffer. It is told that even future children from those families will suffer. In light of this the even should have been seen.
When the tragedy occurred, UCC was doing business. We are very much aware that in Bharat business communities are only interested in Vyasti, individual, growth with vested interest. They are not at all interested in the aspect of samashti (community) and prakriti (the environment). When there is something to get every one tries to lap it up without any delay. And when it is time of taking responsibility it becomes a shifting game on the next available shoulders.
In good time company earned profit from the people. In the bad time of people too, company should have stayed back to share the agony. The apathy shown by the organization, other part of the Bharateeya society and the Government of Bharat cannot be over looked. When such a mass level calamity occurs the greater Karma is generated which effect the society, percolating the traits, behavior and attitude of the people. The calamity showed that we are becoming callous in our attitude even for some important aspects. The calamity was a warning bell to wake us up. But we chose to sleep and continue to be on the same track. The effect is seen. When there is loss of life, nobody cares. We should have taught out children about the calamity. The elected leaders should have left an exemplary response to be followed by the coming generation. There is no such leaders, who can say that he has stood up for the victims. They have not only let down the victims but also the society of future. When the opportunity arrives one should stand up in response. Mahabharat war was an opportunity to show how much you care for the Dharma. Such wars are being fought continuously at different levels and giving opportunity to the individual and the society to take the sides. We will have to carry the burden of the verdict, don’t know how long.
We are teaching our children who are watching us that money is the most important aspect of life and anything done for money can be justified. Think of the implication of this verdict in long run and you will shudder in fear.
