unclear nuclear

UPA Govt is bent upon passage of nuclear bill in this session of the parliament. the time is gone when a party could think of passage of bill on its own. now it has to seek support of other. It is notices that there is some sort of arrogance in present goovernment. It does not want to take opinion of others. It did not feel right to discuss the main opposition on may of the crucial matters. what it did was to gather some smaller parties to pass the test. so BJP is miffed. It did not care for the left in its previous term so they are angry. both of them are not ready to help. PM has promised US that he will get is cleared. this has been set as the major acheivement of the present government. while it is not able to resolve many other contegeous issues and bungeling at may fronts this appears to be the only achievement.
BJP almost agreed to the draft. it is to credit the left group who pointed out the red lined in the draft. this made BJP also to change the track. now they dont want to be seen going along with government. time is running out. now one of the minister told that they will agree with any correction. what a concession! this shows desperation in government. i think opposition should make use of the opportunity. it should set condition that they will agree to pass the bill but only after certain other issues are taken care. like naxalite,Manipur blockage, Kashmir etc. i am very optimistic that all issues will be expedited to get this bill on the table

i found another link

Pravaha marga
Beings who are not blessed to follow about spiritual paths have to undergo the vicious circle birth and death to avail the fruits of actions. This is called "the path of pravaha, the endless stream of birth and death".

Pusti
It means the grace of Bhagvan.

Pusti Beings
Pusti Beings follow Pusti Marga as they develop interest in the Pusti Marga. The worship Sri Krsna is dearer to them than the obtainment of liberation.

Pusti-Bhakti-Marga
A true hearted devotee forgets all his sorrows in his devotion,to Bhagvan and experiences divine blisss. For this reason, this marga is called the "pusti-bhakti-marg".

Pusti-Marga
Pusti-marga is the path of the dedication which could be achieved and followed, only by the grace of Bhagvan.

Pusti-Pusti-Beings
The beings that are graced with knowledge of Bhagvan and such of all matters that are useful in worship ;and who have utmost affection for sri krsna are called "pusti-pusti-beings".

Pusti-Pusti-Devotion

no set back in dreaming

i had sent some money home with the purpose of purchasing land in village if possible. i came to know that there was an offer coming. but later, i came to know that some body offered almost double of what i could afford. this loss of opportunity does not deter me from starting with whatever i have.

Bihar is declared a drought hit state. water is scarce. this also does not deter me. i will irrigate it with my sweat. i know it will yield. My land is waiting for my touch. i will sing a song of togetherness till i mix with it. it will continue its song, while i will dissolve myself in the song.

the reality of this world cannot put any setback in my dream world

Regarding GM food

Nutritional, scientific and agricultural aspects have been widely discussed about GM food. It may have some more aspects.
There was an obscured piece of news which had caught my attention I don’t remember the exact source. It seems, some farmers used GM crops. And beside them there were others who did not use GM seeds. We know that GM crops have some special genes, which are patented by companies. They need to further study these genes to improve the variety, so they routinely take samples from crop. In present case too, company took samples from the GM crop. They also took some samples of neighboring non GM crop to compare. Surprisingly they found that even non GM crop had their patented genes. Farmer could not show voucher for GM seed purchase and was tried under different sections of violation of IPR, stealing and so on. Papam! That person did not understand anything. He was devastated. Later it was found that, the culprit was someone else. We know that we depend on our minor insect brothers to pollinate the flowers. They did not know anything about GM crop and transferred pollens from GM field to non-GM field.
That may be termed as stray incident but look what it has in store for us. Look at worse condition it can give rise to. It is told that brinjal has genes which are similar to many other vegetables. That means genes have greater compatibility for each other. So, patented GM brinjal gene will soon spread itself in the genetic pool of other vegetables. Then even if you don’t grow GM crop you will have to pay to GM company because the crop you grow will have the patented gene. Likewise whole of the agriculture will belong to few people and they will decide who should grow what? Can you remember Indigo farmers of Bihar, who were not allowed to grow rice and wheat but only indigo. And the price of indigo was fixed by the buyers who were also rulers. History may repeat itself. We may end up growing more corn to produce ethanol to run some BMW. Even if there is rice, only those who have money can afford it. It looks like in form of GM crop few people want to capture the most needed resource of this earth and then they can hold the whole humanity to ransom as all other commodities have done to us.
We can live without IT, banking, petrochemicals and pharma sectors or even schools and colleges, but we cannot even think of our society without agricultural. So any decision regarding agricultural has to very careful. Those farmers have to be given highest of the respect, for sustaining our lives. They have been the most independent people throughout the history. Rulers changed, power transferred and ideologies replaced but they were always the same unbothered. They fed every one, without discrimination. It is very ironical that, when there is shortage of food they are the first to die.
To justify the technology our growing need is often cited. We should also not forget that to feed out ever growing need we went for green revolution. To talk against it, may be termed blasphemous. But look what we have done to the once fertile land of Punjab. Soil has lost fertility. Water is undrinkable. Cancer cases are increasing. They will have to fend themselves. When this Punjab is found good for nothing we will create one more Punjab. Green revolution was heavenly dream for 20 years and now turning into scene of hell gradually. If we have to think of agricultural policies we have to think of our children and grandchildren and their grand children too.
Most of the technologies are defended by showing our need. I think there are other options too. Let us cut down our need. Let our agricultural out put stand still. Let all of us know that what ever we have we have to share it. Food is basic need it is not some luxury item. So if the agriculture fails let us cut down our food quantity. Food should not be a commodity. It should not be sold but given as per need. I am not clear how it can be implemented. State should be guiding protecting this policy rather than controlling it. lot can be told for that but then it will be going away from the topic.
So much of talk about growth rate. Our GRowing nEED (actually GREED) is dwarfing even high growth rates. Let us cut down our greed then even, presently, most unwanted Hindu rate of growth will look high and sustainable.
But what to do for The GM companies. They should be allowed to do experiments. But experiment should be contained in the laboratories and not brought in fields. Let them increase their knowledge pool with more GM variety.
I remember when people of Ayodhya came to persuade Rama to return. He made every one understand His stand. There was a Charvaka (a materialistic philosopher). He put forth his arguments which might have looked very appealing to any present day person. But Rama told in very simple words that no amount of argument can persuade him to give up Dharma. similarly in present case we should understand human being, nature and the relation between the two. And no amount of logic should be allowed to interfere with this to bring some irreversible change.
Any change should not be carried out at large scale without understanding the larger consequences. We the common people lack the integrated understanding, our acts are leading to disintegration. Our experiments should be carried out at smallest of the scale possible and we should await the change to grow at the natural pace. We have the habit of over dependence on every luxury and then make it a necessity. Similarly even GM crop research should be allowed to carried out but should not be made substitute to the traditional agriculture.

Must move

Where is this education system leading to? It gives you knowledge and tells you to create wealth out of it. we are told again and again that our value is dependent on the amount of wealth we can create. You are judged by how much you have and not by how much you give.
To sustain its steam it also provided parameter for judging itself. It talks of development. Without going into much of technicality it can be said that if you can buy what you want you are developed. If you cannot then you are not developed. You can term them also in rich and poor respectively. It is well known that more fulfillment of desire never leads to cessation of desire but it breed more out of itself. so you have feeling of haves and have nots. Children are taught from childhood to compare and contrast not within but with-out.
The demon is disturbing. The solution which has been opted is to serve it food. With every meal, the demon asks for more. It gains strength. We have fallen in love with that demon, enchanted with its apparent shine. Its magic has gone so deep that, the idea that there can be other system for fulfillment is out rightly rejected.
We don’t need this development. We don’t need this communication we don’t need advanced transportation. we don’t need to out smart other to be happy. We need ourselves and our people around us. this can be achieved even by even merge amount. One can be happy even in poverty. All such talks will be branded one of lunatic and deranged person. But I don’t want to feed that demon I want to eat my meal and have a good nap. But I believe it. It pulls me. Till I liked the ways of world many appreciated me even loved me. Things changed when I announced that I want to change. Then it appears that I was never loved. What was loved was the presence of a similar demon in me.
I don’t know how many will believe me. But I cannot wait for people to believe me I must have faith in myself. I must walk, fall and getup. Drown and come out while learning to swim among the turbulent waves. May be there will be a fall after which I cannot get up. May be there will be a dip after which I will not come out. May be I will be alone or few beside me. May be I would have got rid of the demon or the traces would be remaining. I don’t know what will be. What I know now is that I should move ahead to be what I am rather than become what others are

A New Farmer

Tips for people who want to take up farming and have never been to farming.

1. Be clear about the objective. Why do you want to take up farming? Ask yourself many times. Get confidence. Farming is not for weaklings. Farmers are one of the strongest folks the earth has ever seen. They have to equal minded in extremities. giving everything to get very few.

2. You need somebody to initiate you. knowledge is spilled in books but wisdom is rarely mentioned. farming is wisdom rather a set of knowledge.

3. Select a land. fortunate if you have got some from your forefathers but loose a chance of making choice. If you have to buy then select good one. Understand the climate and people. See what people have been doing in that region. Select what will be your primary focus and what will be peripheral concerns.

3.After land, look at your hand. What can you do? What do you need? Learn what you need. Be humble. Learn by watching and helping. You can even work as laborer.

4. Don’t shy from any job. Cleaning excreta or working for long hours. There is no one to complain to.

5. Being fit in health and mind is important. Don’t worry much. farming is single profession in which you work along with nature. Nature will keep you healthy if you keep it healthy.

6. Cooperate with other farmers. Keep your knowledge in selves and let wisdom take over. Don’t try some innovation in first few years. It may scare other farmers.

7. Sense of humour, understanding of local dialects and language is important. Understand the local politics will be more important than understanding the national and international one.

8. Be linked to the development outside in form of scientific development and seminars and training.

Above is not step by step procedure. all start at one else doomed in trice.
