be aware

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/constituencies-with-sizable-muslim-population-be-dereserved/698687/

there were two different points raised in that article
"It is surprising and very sad to note that wherever minority population is more than 20-25 per cent, sometimes 30 per cent, these constituencies in Parliament and in the (state) Assembly have been reserved," he said.

I wonder if that was the criteria for reservation of the seat. seat reservation was done based on the SC ST population. now saying that due to this reservation Muslims are not getting representation same can be told for the upper caste people too. so what is the point of complain. so where is the idea of putting this reservation. It would be better if the whole reservation system is hauled up.

The next point which was brought up in the article was
"By embracing to some other religion or by getting converted into other religion his social status is not converted. Person converts to only his concepts and thought but his socio-economic status or political status remains the same," he contended.
But that was the axactly the philosophy for conversion. isn't it? for conversion socio-political status was given as the reason. now it shows that the reason was not good. does that mean that conversion was not a good idea. thoughts can lead to such a point too. If people are so interested in claiming the space reserved for SC St then one can reconvert to their religion to enjoy the status of SC ST.
